BACKGROUND

Dr. Smit is my GP who has a keen interest in anti-aging products and solutions. He's an experienced GP who also administers Botox and fillers. In an effort to expand his business Dr. Smit has a passion for the anti-aging industry and expressed interest in developing his own anti-aging products on numerous occasions.


CHALLENGES

- No time to give thought to business expansion

- No allocated budget to hire a branding or product launch company

- Does not have a business coach or sounding board to put ideas on paper

- Caught up in the daily running of his business

- Small business with no partners



CLIENT BRIEF

No formal brief. A general discussion led us into a brainstorming session about his interest in developing his own products. We sat down and unpacked his thoughts on paper. Dr. Smit requested we do research on the product ingredient costs.


SOLUTIONS PROVIDED

We sat down with Dr. Smit, unpacked his idea on paper, and researched potential product suppliers. Given the nature of the business and country regulations, we carried out our investigations and reported our findings such as accredited suppliers, costs, volume, approvals, and policies.
